Mythology is the story of the people. It is time to develop new myths.
Astronomy and quantum understanding are expanding our knowledge.
Astrology is based on As above, so below, as within, so without, as the soul so the universe.
As astrologers we can now expand what we work with. Astrology can use its neutral voice to make difference. To combine what currently feels like divided, fragmented, and painful world.
In 1998 invisible energy and matter was established. It was called Dark Energy and Dark Matter. We need to refine our use and emotional connects to the word and appearance of dark and light. Astrologers know the best way to deal with the aspects of opposition is to honor and provide some support to each side. Will we share that?
Mythology is from the Greek mythos for the story-of-the-people, our story. To study myths is to reflect on ourselves and the world. Myths also give us insight into how some planets were perceived. Some refer to myths as the study of other people's religion and orientation. Being aware of the perspective we chose to adopt from myths is also important.
Structure was imposed by many cultures using the organization of stars into constellations. Maat is an example. Maat was the goddess who personified to the ancient Egyptian concepts of truth, balance, order, harmony, law, morality, and justice. She regulated the stars, seasons, and the actions of mortals and the deities who had brought order from chaos at the moment of creation MA'AT IS CONSIDERED MORE OF A CONCEPT THAN A GODDESS. One worshiped Maat by living a life in accordance with her principles.
How do myths specifically apply to astrology and astronomy? The International Astronomical Union (IAU) is the officially recognized authority in astronomy for assigning designations to celestial bodies In response to the need for unambiguous names. it has a number of systematic naming systems -most associated with myth. The names given to minor planets followed the same pattern as the prior planets: names from Greek or Roman myths, with a preference for female names. With the discovery in 1898 of the first body found to cross the orbit of Mars, a different choice was deemed appropriate, and Eros was chosen. This started a pattern of female myth names for main-belt bodies and male myth names for those with unusual orbits. Jupiter trojans (minor planets that are in 1:1 resonance with Jupiter) are named for characters of the legendary Trojan War. Trans-Jovian minor planets crossing or approaching the orbit of a giant planet are named for centaurs. Plutons are named after mythological creatures associated with the underworld. Until 2019, this convention was specified for all Neptune-resonant objects. Other KBOs, including classical Kuiper Belt objects, are given mythological or mythic names (not necessarily from Greek or Roman mythology). Since 2019, names associated with creation (such as 50000 Quaoar) are encouraged though not required as they had been previously. Objects that approach or cross Earth's orbit are still given male mythological names. Astrologers connect meaning to objects, myths, events around discovery and more.
Now is the time to reexamine the clues showing meaning and order in a world and how we apply them. For example when we look at objects named of underworld creatures, do we look for the wealth and growth under the ground or the hell some associate with the underworld? Archetypes are important, however they seem to have become related to stereotypes. Perhaps focusing on energy principles and energy fields may be more effective. That could eliminate some of the injustices presented in many ancient myths.

While speaking of myths and astrology:
There are different types of myths. Many creation myths, regardless of basic type, contain the story of the failed creation or the fall of humanity and a subsequent Flood and re-creation and a subsequent Flood and re-creation. Are we trying to recreate those myths?
Psychological myths try to explain why we feel and act the way we do. In a psychological myth, emotion can be seen as an outside force that can directly influence a person’s emotions. For example, the goddess Aphrodite is associated with the power of erotic love. When someone said or did something that they did not want to admit to, the ancient Greeks might say that Aphrodite “made them” do it. Astrology does not "make us" do anything. Astrologers combine the scientific and the myth, the rational and the irrational of life. Astrology reflects the probability that we will be moved in different directions at different times. Astrologers study the chart (a view or perspective of the sky and space) to see the nature of an event or person. Astrologers' interpretation of the combination of archetypes is simply that - an interpretation. We choose how we will feel. We choose the positive, or negative. We choose. If we chose not to make a choice, that is also a choice.

Astronomy's discoveries impact Astrology's “As above, so below, as within, so without, as the universe, so the soul…” from the alleged author ancient Greek Hermes Trismegistus. We need to stay aware of Astronomy's discoveries!
Astronomy, especially astrophysics has been dynamically expanding our knowledge. Astrophysics is the branch of astronomy concerned with the physical nature of stars and other celestial bodies, and the application of the laws and theories of physics to the interpretation of astronomical observations. Theories in quantum cosmology and quantum physics connect micro and macrocosms. The patterns of vibration which creates matter and energy also creates patterns of life and fields of energy: electro-magnetic fields, gravitational fields and waves, and fields we are yet to describe. (NASA's missions, projects, and websites are amazing!)
The current theory of our solar system, the nebular hypothesis, has fallen into and out of favor since its formulation in the 18th century. The nebular hypothesis says that the Solar System formed from the gravitational collapse of a fragment of a giant molecular cloud. With the dawn of the space age in the 1950s through today studies of young stars have shown them to be surrounded by cool discs of dust and gas, exactly as the nebular hypothesis predicts, which has led to its re-acceptance.. The theory follows:
The warmth of the inner Solar System was too warm for volatile molecules like water and methane to condense, so the planetesimals that formed there could only form from compounds with high melting points, such as metals (like iron, nickel, and aluminum) and rocky silicates. These rocky bodies would become the terrestrial planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars). These compounds are quite rare in the Universe, comprising only 0.6% of the mass of the nebula, so the terrestrial planets could not grow very large.
Uranus and Neptune are thought to have formed in orbits near Jupiter and Saturn (known as the "gas giants"), where more material was available, and to have migrated outward to their current positions over hundreds of millions of years.
The migration of the outer planets is also necessary to account for the existence and properties of the Solar System's outermost regions. Beyond Neptune, the Solar System continues into the Kuiper belt, the scattered disc, and the Oort cloud, three sparse populations of small icy bodies thought to be the points of origin for most observed comets.
Current science is revealing a relationship between the inner realm of thfrae psyche and the outer realm of the cosmos, This can provide guidance in the next phase of our evolution. imals. After 500–600 million years (about 4 billion years ago) Jupiter and Saturn fell into a 2:1 resonance which created a gravitational push against the outer planets, possibly causing Neptune to surge past Uranus and plough into the ancient Kuiper belt. In The Secret Lives of the Planets Paul Murdin writes that there is a progression in the size and surface density of the planets which also confirms the probability of the Gas Giants movement.
Note: Looking at Microcosm and Macrocosms:
An atom consists of a nucleus with a certain number of electrons rotating about the nucleus in their orbits. The nucleus is much larger than the electrons. These particles are small spheres or ball-shaped similar to the planets of a solar system. Current documentaries also show similarities between one celled slime growth patterns and galaxies growth patterns.

Astrology has a long history and is part of many cultures. Recognizing patterns in positions and movements of the stars, planets, other celestial objects and all of Nature can improve our lives. Astrology provides a swift grasp of patterns and connections, visual and narrative. I am a story-teller and astrology has a story-making function that helps me understand and possibly help others. Astrology can enrich our lives. Astrology can use a helpful value neutral voice. The concepts of malefic and benefic planets are used by some – but not here. All the planets have positive and negative potential which we can choose.
Dark matter particles pass through us without our consciousness. It passes through all the matter in the Universe, including human beings, as though it, or we, were not there at all. Planets respond to gravitational force or the curving spacetime. Could we feel things of which we are not conscious? As we become aware of feelings, how do we seek the reasons for them? Cosmic energy is energy which can influence the patterns and the reality we create. Have you used mind maps before? Astrology's mind map is rooted in nature, just as we are. Could intelligence and emotions be rooted in invisible "dark" energy?
Ancient Babylonians and other civilizations forged links between the sky and the phases of human activity that has evolved into what we call astrology. They combined science with the mystic. They provided a springboard to connect with what was beyond our conscious understanding. Archetypal astrology helps us to render intelligible the patterns of our historical and recent evolutionary past, and to illuminate the challenges of the present and future. Archetypes are not stereotypes. Archetypes represent human qualities we all share, such as Reason, Emotion, Faith, Courage, Conscience, and Temptation. Stereotypes represent different kinds of personalities we encounter in life.
No one is purely one sign. The sign of the sun is only one part of the whole.
The universe is an incredibly growing symphony within the synchronized forces of existence. Within it, we can join life and consciousness pondering our fitting place and space. As science keeps building bigger and more sensitive detectors, our conscious awareness also grows. Resonance, frequencies, and field forces sync up with humanity in ways we are working to understand. Synchronized vibrations lie at the heart of human consciousness, and – indeed – of all physical reality.
Astrology connects meaning to elements of the celestial realm that some see as meaningless. Meaninglessness inhibits fullness of life and contributes to suffering and illness.
Astrology has a unifying set of symbols that speak to our common humanity and our shared existence yet focuses on individual ways of connecting. Our evolving world reveals that we need to connect in ways we are still working to understand. "Coming generations will have to take account of this momentous transformation if humanity is not to destroy itself through the might of its own technology and science.” (Undiscovered Self, Jung) Perhaps the focus needs to be on energy principles and energy fields.
Astrology comes alive when it is used to explore the interconnected nature of life.
Medicine was taught in medieval Europe under Astronomia.
Human consciousness and human unconsciousness are part of our pattern. Resonance, frequencies, and field forces sync up with humanity in ways we are working to understand. Synchronized vibrations lie at the heart of human consciousness, and – indeed – of all physical reality. Matter and energy have some associated consciousness. The Map of Consciousness Explained by David R. Hawkins is insightful.
Our exploration of space, our screaming planet, and our evolving world on Earth reveal that we need to connect in new ways, to ponder our fitting place within. (Spectrum of Depthless Enthusiasm, Rayne Corbin) Corbin is correct. With climate change, the pandemic, and racial unrest we have much to ponder.
The laws of space and matter are actually the laws of the mind and perhaps a new way of thinking. Dream Yoga provides other insights. "Survival of the fittest” could mean the end of all species. Nature creates uniqueness and needs cooperative energy and actions.
"Light is white because that’s how our brains interpret full-spectrum electromagnetic radiation, hence energy is associated with white, because it’s giving and we are receiving. Darkness is black because it’s absorbing energy and not giving out" yet that ignores the seeds sprouting in underground darkness.
However. "energy naturally flows from high concentration to low concentration. .
So what is darkness for? It’s easier to see if I switch the metaphor of light and dark to that of soft and hard. Now high-energy is soft, flowly and warm; likewise low energy is hard, prickly and cold. It’s true that here in the 21st century, on Earth, there is so much energy that is hard, prickly and cold that we are in dire need of some soft, flowy and warm energy. If you embrace both that which is soft and that which is hard, that which is light and that which is dark, that which is hot and that which is cold, then you will be able to sustain your energy and help all.."

Darkness in light and light in darkness.
Peace is not rocking the planet and love is not filling the stars. This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius?
Aquarius is considered the most humanitarian astrological sign. Aquarians are revolutionary thinkers aspiring to change the world through radical social progress. Aquarians are rebels at heart. These air signs despise authority and anything that represents conventionality. Will an Aquarian Age bring peace to our planet? Not without work and additional evolving!
Jung said “A mood of universal destruction and world renewal … has set its mark upon our age". Today this mood makes itself felt everywhere, politically, socially, and philosophically. We are living in what the Greeks call the Kairos — the right time — for a “metamorphosis of the gods”.
This peculiarity of our time can be related to the procession of the Equinoxes with the Piscean Age changing to the Age of Aquarius. It can be related to our expanding consciousness reaching father than before.. The 2020 planetary aspects have also contributed to today's energy and events.
Understanding force-fields has replaced the now out-of-date understandings of our world. We are NOT solid and no longer believe that only physical contact could possibly impact us. Common examples of force fields include magnetic fields, gravitational fields, and electrical fields. Force fields also are part of Metaphysics.
Metaphysics is the study of reality and a good tool for the work ahead!
Metaphysis is derived from the Greek meta ta physika ("after the things of nature"); referring to an idea, doctrine, or posited reality outside of human sense perception. We seek to explain inherent, or universal, elements of reality which are not easily understood or experienced in our everyday life.
Astrological Ages occur because of a wobble of Earth's axis of rotation and is connected with the procession of the equinoxes. The cycle of procession lasts 25,800 years, There are 12 constellations of the Zodiac, thus about every 2,150 years, the sun’s position at the time of the March, or vernal, equinox moves in front of a new zodiac constellation. The Age of Aquarius begins when the March Equinox Point moves out of the constellation Pisces and into the constellation Aquarius.
When will that be?
There’s no definitive answer. Various interpretations give different answers to this often-asked question.
Will peace ever rock the planet and will love fill the stars? We currently see the news of devastation: climate change, race riots. pandemics, destruction, hate, and ...
Just thinking:
If the universe is the same as God, God is the same as humans, humans are the same as the cell, the cell is the same as the atom, the atom is the same as…and so on. All things are connected regardless of space and time.
“We are all just interpreting signals from the universe and trying to make sense of them. Dim, shaky, weak, static-y little signals that only hint at the complexity of a universe we cannot begin to understand.” Quote from Bones TV show “The Doctor In The Photo”
Interpreting weak static-y signals from the universe is better than being without any information at all. What building blocks will you use to expand knowledge, to connect, to build a world of meaning?
